I am quite impressed by the app "扇貝單詞", in that it allows the learner to set daily goal. I think this is a very important feature/function of this app, as the learners could keep track of their learning progress and therefore make the entire learning process continuous, instead of being segmented.
Clear powerpoint! I have used these two apps for a long time during my undergraduate period. I prefer the 扇贝 because it can calculate the percentage of my answer and I can review the wrong words at any time. But for 百词斩, I feel that I always forget the new words I just learned after several days since I only remember the pictures rather than the meaning of a word.
I think the 1st slide in your PowerPoint is interestingly designed as you put the similarities and differences in one slide ‘Advantages Comparison’, and used different font colours to show the similarities. However, from your 2nd slide, it appears that the content in both these apps isn’t accurate. So, would these apps actually be considered as good quality apps?
Actuallly yes. They are both super famous Apps in mainland. As for Bai Ci Zhan, its advantage can be its disadvantage. Since all of the words have related pictures nearby while not all of the words can be presented or explained with a picture, we may feel confused to see the pics. As for Shan Bei, I have used it for more than 4 years and I think it's quite good. But they want to list every single meaning of a word and some of the meanings are not common, that's why many users consider that Shanbei has some mistakes.
Well, i think the design of this Powerpoint is informative and useful to people who want to improve their English vocabulary. And the comparison is also in details. And if you can add your comments to these two apps, it would be better to give others some suggestion to use it.
I think it is very nice for your group to keep the presentation in a very similar style, and highlighting some of the words in different colour (2nd slide) helps to capture my attention to those key points your group wants to point out. However, it would be a bit better if your group has included a short introduction on the two apps, perhaps with some pictures of the two apps as well. Also, personally I think one of the functions in 扇貝背單詞 is quite useful that is the 'Give English news and oral practice' one. This gives the context of the vocabulary and learners can learn how the words can be used.
I have used both of this two software. Well, in my opinion, I think Baicizhan is more user-friendly, because it contains many pics related to the vocabularies you want to learn. Your group make a good comparison between Baicizhan and Shanbei Vocabulries. Good job!

Based on your analysis of advantage and disadvantage of word recitation app, we can conclude some basic components what I think are necessaries. 1. pictures or video to help recitation; 2. example sentences coming from famous public speaking or literature; 3. test; 4. learning from media, such as radio and TV News; 5. learning schedule setting. Then I suggest the app may provide some international competition platforms as a hub to connect different learners in the world. All the learners can join the word game to gain badge and promote to a higher level. They may share the learning method and experience to beginners. I like this kind of comparison to find out the shortage of the application, then we may modify it in a creative way.

Is there a ranking system based on their scores? Or can they compete against their friends? I found it interesting that in “Shan Bei” users could take their own notes and set a daily goal. I am interested in how they are able to indicate that they have met their daily goal. I feel that this gives the learners more ownership over their learning and engages them more in the learning process.

This can also be regarded as one advantage~ You record is very clear, but it could be better if you figured out how to combine your voice with your slides.
The compare content mobile learning of apps can be improved (Between Slide and Sound ). But the slides is clearly to show ideas and content to explain, the sound is explain simple of information and ideas that it is easy to understand key point. Overall, we know different apps of pros and cons.
The slides are simple but comprehensive and easy to understand. I have used the two apps selected for a while, and I am totally agree with the points of advantages and disadvantages you summarized. But one suggestion for your presentation is that if you can combine the narration with your slides, that would be better. :)

But, the two apps are new to me and I have no ideas what they are before this class. It would be better if a short introduction on the two apps at the beginning for a new learner like me.
